Components: The Components tab is the core workspace where you manage and analyze all individual line items in your estimate, giving you detailed control over quantities, costs, and calculations. Key Features:
- Comprehensive component listing with full details
- Inline quantity and cost editing
- Component detail dialogs with extended information
- Real-time markup calculations per component
- Categorization and filtering options
How it Works: Each component represents a specific construction item with its own quantity, unit cost, and markup settings. Components are organized by CSI code and displayed hierarchically, allowing inline edits and immediate visibility into how changes impact overall estimate totals.
