Overview: The Overview tab serves as your primary dashboard for understanding the financial structure of your estimate at a glance, helping you quickly assess cost distribution and identify areas needing attention. Key Features:
- CSI code organization for industry-standard categorization
- Real-time cost calculations with markup applications
- Visual breakdown by cost categories (Material, Labor, Equipment, Subcontractors, Others)
- Automatic total cost summaries across all estimate components
How it Works The tab aggregates data from all estimate components and groups them by CSI codes. It calculates base costs plus applied markups for each category, providing instant visibility into your estimate’s financial composition. As changes are made in other tabs, the overview updates automatically.
