Editing Plan sheets
- Click any cell in the grid to edit the Sheet Number, Sheet Name, or Discipline.
- New: When you correct a sheet number, the discipline updates automatically. For example, changing a sheet to A-101 sets it to Architectural.
- Batch edit: Select multiple sheets to renumber, or change their discipline in one step. (Only available when creating a new revision set/ Add plans)
- Bounding Box: Draw a box over the area of the title block that holds the sheet number and name. TrueBuilt reads that area on every page of the set.
- AI Auto-Naming: Optional. Turn it on to have TrueBuilt detect sheet numbers and names for you.
- Disabled: Your original file names are kept exactly as uploaded.
Tip: If some sheets don't extract their name or number correctly, it's usually because those sheets have a different title block layout from the rest of the set. To fix them:
- Select the affected sheets in the list.
- Click Edit regions.
- Draw the Sheet Number and Sheet Name boxes on one of those pages, then click Confirm Regions.
- Click Process selected page(s) to re-extract only those sheets.
New regions apply only to the sheets you select. Your other sheets keep their names and numbers.
