Common Issues & Solutions

Login Issues:

  • Ensure correct username and password.
  • Reset password using Forgot Password link.
  • Verify internet connection and firewall settings.

Takeoff Not Saving:

  • Check auto-save settings.
  • Refresh the page and retry.
  • Clear Cache from TB menu. (If this doesn't work, refer to “When clearing out the plan’s cache and refreshing doesn’t work”.)
  • Ensure all required fields are completed.

Quote Requests Not Sending:

  • Confirm recipient email addresses are correct.
  • Check spam filters and email settings.
  • Retry sending the bid through an alternate method.

Database Issues:

  • Ensure the database is properly linked to the project.
  • Contact support if pricing updates are not reflecting.

When clearing out the plan’s cache and refreshing doesn’t work:

  • Right-click on the Takeoff page (or F12 key) and head into Inspect
  • Click on Application & click on Clear site data,
  • Ensure to tick including third-party cookies as well.

Why isn’t Auto-Link showing up in my plans?

  • If Auto-Link isn't appearing, it usually means the files need to be reprocessed. In this case, reprocess all files using the option described here.

Why aren’t navigation tabs appearing?

  • If the navigation header tabs don’t appear, you can try disabling your browser extensions and refreshing the page.
  • Important: Some third-party browser extensions may impact the application’s functionality and user experience.
