Hover Walls
Take off walls in a few clicks instead of tracing them by hand.
How it works
- Select a linear component.
- Choose Hover Walls from the Drawing tools, or press Alt + H (⌥ Option + H on Mac).
- Hover over the plan. The wall under your cursor is highlighted in your component’s colour.
- Click to add that wall to your component.
Good to know:
- First use on a sheet: If plans haven't been processed that means the walls haven’t been extracted yet. Thus you’ll see “Extracting walls from this sheet.” This can take up to 5 minutes, and you can keep working on other tools or sheets meanwhile.
- No duplicates: Clicking a wall that’s already drawn shows “A wall is already drawn here” and adds nothing.
- If extraction fails: Click Try again.
- Availability: Hover Walls is available on projects with AI Auto Walls enabled.
