Manual Override
Manual Override
Enter a component's quantity directly, without measuring it on the plans.
When to use it
- Scope that isn't shown on the drawings (e.g. allowances, spec-only items)
- Quantities you already have from another source
- Adding a component straight from the estimate without going into Takeoff
How to use it
- Create a component and click Manual override
- Enter the quantity
- Save. Items on the component price from that quantity.
- Manual components can't be measured on the plans. Their quantity comes only from what you enter.
- You can turn manual override on or off in Component Details, as long as the component has no measurements.
