Template Library
The Template Library lives in your company Database, so every template you create is shared with your team. Anyone working from that database can apply them to their takeoffs at any time.
Component Templates
- A saved component with its full item list (materials, labor, trim)
- Created and managed from your Database page
- Items come from your master database, so pricing stays consistent
Template Sets
- A group of component templates you use together (e.g. Interior Walls, Ceilings)
- Apply a whole set to a takeoff in one step
Using templates in Takeoff
- Apply a template or template set to add ready to measure components
- Right-click any component and select Create template from component to save it to your library
- Build once, use everywhere: Set up your assemblies once instead of rebuilding them on every project
- Shared across your team: Every estimator works from the same templates whenever they need them.
- Consistent estimates. Everyone uses the same components and items, so bids stay aligned across projects and users.
- Faster takeoffs. Start measuring right away on new projects.
