Importing from OST & Quick Bid
Bring your existing database into TrueBuilt instead of building it from scratch.
From Quick Bid or OST
- Go to Databases and click Import QB database or Import OST database
- Upload your database file (.mdb, .accdb, or .bak), or import directly from SQL Server
- Import Quick Bid first, then OST
What comes across
- From Quick Bid: master items with all their configurations, chained items, CSI codes, cost codes, accounting codes, payroll classes, wage types, manufacturers, suppliers, and assemblies
- From OST: component types, component templates, and template sets
From a spreadsheet
- Not on Quick Bid or OST? Import items, payroll, cost codes, accounting codes, and CSI codes from a spreadsheet
- Import items before payroll
