Materials & Labor Tabs
Material: The Material tab focuses on material procurement costs, helping you track, analyze, and optimize material usage across your project. Key Features:
- Material-specific cost tracking
- Supplier information and contacts
- Quantity management with unit conversions
- Material cost variance analysis
- Integration with material catalogs and pricing
How it Works: Material items are filtered from components and displayed with supplier and procurement details. Costs are calculated independently, allowing focused analysis of material trends and cost-saving opportunities.

Labor: The Labor tab helps you analyze workforce costs and productivity, enabling better labor planning and cost optimization. Key Features:
- Labor category and classification management
- Wage rate tracking by skill level and region
- Productivity and benchmarking analysis
- Overtime and premium pay calculations
- Labor cost forecasting
How it Works: Labor data is organized by trade, skill level, and work category. Costs are calculated using hourly rates, estimated hours, and markups, allowing you to analyze productivity and optimize crew sizing.

How to View Components in the Materials & Labor Tab:
You can view all components by: heading to Bid Packages → Click on your desired Estimate → Now you can navigate between the Components, Labor, and Materials tabs → Then click on the dropdown arrow. These tabs show the list of components currently being used.
