Reordering Your Plans
To reorder your plans in Plans Management, you'll need to toggle off "Group by Discipline". Once that's done, you'll be able to reorder the rows as per your preference. You can also select multiple plans and reorder them together.
Automatic Ordering
- Uploads sorted by discipline, then sheet number
- Natural number sorting (A2 before A10)
Sort Modes
- Set per project: Discipline (default), Sheet Number, or As Uploaded
- As Uploaded matches your PDF viewer's page order (e.g. Bluebeam)
- A new mode applies on the next upload or reset
Grouping by Discipline
- Discipline assigned automatically from the sheet number (A-101 → Architectural, S-201 → Structural).
- Updates automatically when a sheet number is edited.
- Group by Discipline enables trade sections in both Plans Management and the Takeoff Plans window. E.g.: Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing.
- Sheets are ordered by discipline, then by sheet number.
Lock & Reset
- Lock order to prevent accidental re-sorting from column headers
- Drag-and-drop still works while locked
- Reset to default order restores your sort mode's order (confirmation required)
- Reset also tidies up projects created before this update
- Lock setting stays with you across projects and devices
Custom Ordering
- Drag-and-drop reordering within the grid
- Saved order persists across sessions
- Order affects takeoff and downstream workflows
- Separate padlock in the Takeoff Plans window
Search & Filtering
- Search by sheet number, sheet name, or discipline
- Filter by revision set status and plan attributes
