Best Practices

• Use Clear Dimensions: Choose labeled dimensions (e.g., walls, doors) over estimates. Avoid scaling based on title block scales, as they may not match the digital plan.

• High-Resolution Plans: Ensure the plan is at least 300 DPI to avoid pixelation affecting accuracy.

• Save Calibration: After applying the scale, click Save Plan to store the calibration settings with the plan.

Troubleshooting

• Measurement Errors? Recalibrate using a longer known dimension (e.g., 50 ft instead of 5 ft) for better accuracy.

• Scale Locked? Ensure you have edit permissions for the plan (check Projects > Permissions).

• Plan Not Loading? Verify the file format (PDF, PNG, JPEG) and size (<50MB). Contact support@truebuilt.com if issues persist.
